dofus kamas

dofus he's alumberjack and he's ok

Lumberjack has been quoted as the most tedious, time consuming profession to level. I beg to differ but do agree that is a profession that can be boring and time consuming.

With a lumberjack you have 16 species of trees to cut. Of course the most profitable of these trees comes much much later in the lumberjack leveling. On the upside your products are purchased by a high number of professionals. So, even at a low level you will make kama.

Another positive aspect of being a lumberjack is that there are 14 different axes that you can use. Not all axes can be used to cut wood so double check that is a wood cutter as well.

You might be wondering why this is a positive....have you ever tried killing with a needle and thread?

Needle and thread
Damage 1 neutral

Lumberjack Axe
Damage 1-2 neutral

Boulgourde of the Glades (axe that can also cut wood)
Damage 31-45 neutral

See what I mean, positive...your tool is also a weapon.

It is very advantageous if your tool can does some good damage. It happens more time then you can imagine, you enter a fight and forget you have a tool on rather than your weapon. Fights can get so much longer when you are using a needle and thread or a basic axe. Never mind the echoes of laughter coming from your team mates when you give a love tap to an enemy rather than a heavy hit.

The downside to Lumberjack, Lumbering ... moving with heavy clumsiness.

A lumberjack required you to have a high level of pods for carrying your wood. So a strength based character is a great start for this profession. However there are alternatives to help you get past your low pod level.

First let's take a look at what pods are. Pods are your total amount of carrying space in your backpack. To find out what you have take a look in your backpack.

In your pack you will see an orange bar with the title pods, point at it and it will tell you your total amount of pods available and the amount of pods you have used.

Your pod level is important to watch. When you are out of pods and continue cutting you lose the wood and the experience points (XP) from cutting the wood. Now you still have to drop your wood at the bank, market or house as well as wait longer for wood to regenerate.

The reason we are focusing on pods with the lumberjack is that each piece of wood takes up 5 pods of space. A character starts with a base of 1000 pods which gets used faster than you can imagine.

Here is an example, a tree protector aggresses you: you fight and win the reward is a bag of resources containing 50 pieces of wood. This one fight will use a quarter of your available pods 50x5=250.

Now you might be thinking so what, I still have 750 pods left. Not necessarily, remember your backpack holds everything you drop in fights and all your extra equipment. Plus you may have been collecting wood for the last hour and had been close to full already. Now you are overloaded. This is when I suggest using potions to get you back to a safe location to drop some supplies (home or guild house) or have a trusted friend come bail you out by holding some wood. The other option is to drop the extras and keep cutting.

So with that said, keep an eye on your fries....I mean pods

Good news about pods,

You can increase your pods by either adding a Bworky (pet), a crimson mount (Dragoturkey) or by adding gear that contains strength.

With a Bworky you will want to have one that is already fully trained to add 1000 pods to your standard 1000 for a grand total of a minimum 2000 pods. Any mount will be able to hold items for you but crimson will increase your strength depending on its level. As for gear it is self explanatory, look for gear with high level of strength or extra pods. However if you are not strength based, I would suggest a Bworky.

Okay so let's get to the goods.

Learning

Lumberjack is one of the professions you can learn while you are in Incarnam by talking to the Foreman at the Inn. There are two other places that you can acquire your tool and learn the profession, Astrub and Amakna. The tool you can purchase from these any of the previous 3 locations is a basic Lumberjack axe. To upgrade your tool you will need to check out the smith seller's room in either Bonta or Brak.

Leveling

This is the one profession that you will need to be a high level to access some areas in which trees grow. Some of the areas are full of monsters that have high aggression ranges. For example, the area east of Bonta contains a good supply of trees including maple and walnut, but this area is full of Trolls.

Another area is Kaliptus forest; here you can cut Kaliptus wood at level 75 lumberjack. However, the area is full of Koalak Foresters and they make look cute and cuddly until they turn you into a tree. Both sets of monsters can be very challenging to win against so be very careful cutting wood in their domain.

Once you get past the aggressive monsters and your profession level increases, every 5-10 levels you will be able to cut a new variety of wood. The higher level wood is very scares and in hard to reach places such as Dark Vlads map or the last room of Crackler dungeon. Not only are the areas remote and hard to reach but regeneration rate is extensive which lends to the rumours of lumberjack being tedious to level.

Recipes

You will also have new slots for recipes open every 10 levels with 2 slots available at level one. Recipes include making planks and potions.

Planks are easy 20 wood pieces per plank regardless of wood type. Planks tend to sell faster and at higher kama rates then raw wood, of course this will vary for server to server and day to day.

Potions there are only 3 recipes that can be made, wood shaving, strong wood shaving and rare wood shaving potions. These potions are used by craftsmen to repair weapons.

There are a few philosophies out there for faster leveling such as chop and drop. Now sure you can drop the wood so you can keep cutting but now you have lost the profit from your profession. So you will need to weigh the pros and cons of dropping your wood.

I prefer to make a profit and keep potions on me for fast return to a city or my guild house. Then use a recall potion to get back to the zaap closest to where you are harvesting. Of course that process requires you to save at the zaap closest to where you are harvesting.

Happy Harvesting

Dofus Leveling Guide Enutrof Leveling As An Item Mule

Level 1-5

Do the beginning quests in Incarnam. If you do all of the "talking" quests, and all
of the quests that require the killing of weak monsters (get friend's help if
needed), you will be lvl5 in no time. Put your first 20 stat points into Vitality,
as you will need every hitpoint early on, and with 20 Vitality you will still have
enough points to raise Chance to 100 by level 26, when you obtain Coins Throwing.

In terms of Spell Points, resist the temptation to improve Shovel Throwing; it is a
very weak spell, even when maxed out at level 5, and at later levels you won't ever
use it. Fortune is a useful spell which boosts your Chance, but you'll want to level
that up later on in the game since you don't need the bonus Chance much now anyhow.
Save up your spell points until you reach level 6.

See the note under 26-40 about mushd's for early/mid leveling.

Level 6-9

Time to get dofus kamas some good equipment. Sell any resources you find or have found, such as
arachnee legs and white/black gobball wool for some quick money. Spend it on
anything you can find that will significantly increase your strength.

When you hit Level 6, dump your spell points into Living Bag to bring it to level 3,
effectively giving you 60 extra hitpoints in a fight. Buy it up to level 4 when you
reach 7th level. If you get dofus kamas cornered by a gobball for whatever reason, use the bag
as a resevoir of hitpoints. If you have a Great Twiggy Shovel (or better shovel),
your melee damage may be more powerful than your Shovel Throwing damage. Saving up
your remaining spell points for now, continue to put all your characteristic points
into Chance. This metions the use of shovels as a weapon. It is also possible to use
axes, they seem cheaper and more available on Rosal. Note that axes do not gain any
damage bonus, or damage reduction

One Thing you could do is buy 2 ring of satisfaction to get +2 ap. This way you can
use shovel throwing twice a turn

Level 10-16

Now that you've reached 10th level, you can reward yourself by buying the less
expensive pieces of the Gobball Set, assuming you can afford them. A gobball hammer

level 11 you can wear Fortifying Rings to boost your strength, and at level 14 you
can wear Mental Rings, which will significantly boost the relevant stats that help
you deal more damage with the Gobball Hammer. With even just a partial Gobball Set,
you should be able to deal around 20 damage per hit with your hammer, and use its
unique area of attack to effectively remain one step ahead of level 6 gobbals.

Instead, put 3 spell points into Fortune. The important thing here is that you make
sure you will have exactly 10 spell points when you hit level 26, so that you can
max out Coins Throwing the moment you get dofus kamas it. Continue to put all your
characteristic points into Chance.

NOTE: Shovel Skill gives a nice boost to melee damage, so consider it as it is
fairly cheap and easy to get. I leveled it to four after living bag to 4 and fortune
to 3 (if you level it past 5, you wont be able to max coins throwing right away).
Powerful Twiggy Shovels are also cheap and do decent damage with shovel skill;
however at level 15 I bought a Field Shovel and did 25-30 dmg a turn against
boar(with full gobball set minus the hammer). But I am not sure yet whether the
Field Shovel is or is not a better choice than the Powerful Twiggy Shovel - I'll
leave that up to you ;).

At level 15 ibought the holic bow(chance based) and i used chance equipment and used
fortune to hit damage of about 20/30 - 40/50 i never bought bow skill but if i did i
would definately be dealing good damage look out for a chance/bow page i will soon
create :)

Level 17-25

At level 17, dump 3 more skill points into Ghostly Shovel. At last, a spell that
does some respectable damage! Ghostly is fire based, so strap on anything and
everything that raises your Int. Chances are this means completing as much of the
Gobball Set as you can, plus high-stat mental rings. Your attack pattern won't vary
too much: Simply use Ghostly Shovel to attack at range instead of Shovel Throwing.
The difference in range and damage will probably allow you to take on level 9, 12
and maybe even level 15 gobballs, depending on your equipment. Experiment also with
groups of flowers, which have few hitpoints and are generally vulnerable to fire
Getting to level 26 will take a long time, but don't give up. Along the way, push
more points into Ghostly to get it to level 4. Eventually you'll want to max it
anyway.

Here's another alternative: Once you get to lvl 21-22 you can combine the
moskito set with the boar set, and have a pretty good total physical reduction -
great for lower to mid lvl solo'ing, combined with a decent wisdom boost and
chance boost. You could probably use this hybrid combination till you get dofus kamas to the
robber set/prespic set hybrid combo).

Level 26-40

Once you hit level 26 you should be able to max out your Chance at 100, and have
enough points to max out Coins Throwing immediately. You should have Living Bag 4,
Fortune 3, Ghostly Shovel 4, and Coins Throwing 5. Sell your gobball equipment and
instead pick up a full Bandit Set immediately. Suppliment this with either parts of
the Moskito Set, or other equipment that suits your style. Assuming full robber and
100 Chance, you should be doing an average of 20 damage per hit, three times a
round, at a range of up to 12. This is exceedingly annoying for opponents.

From this point on you can now hold your own against surprisingly large encounters.
Continue to raise chance, and work towards obtaining a hybrid Prespic Set/Bandit
Set. Max out Fortune and Ghostly Shovel when you can, and consider raising Pandora's
Box to make your Ghostly that much more effective. In terms of characteristics, 20
points of Agility will help raise your critical hits, and Vitality and Intelligence
are always fairly useful too. Chance continues to be important later on, so don't
ignore it either.

 Dofus Feca's Shield Leveling

1-9 Incarnam has a bunch of options piwis are pretty good till around 5 or so where you might try daredevil crabs they are pretty nice in Dofus.

9-20 Incarnam chafers probably wont hurt you with lvl 4 earth armor and they are great exp if you fall off incarnam after hitting level 16 mushds are great but be careful they agro and use water and earth attacks they can also take mp

20-30 Mushds are still good for a while though if u have lvl 5 wind armor you can probably take on piglets which if you dont mind the grind can actually take you to around 70. Fecas get a lot of solo options dinks, gobbals, crackrocks, treechnids (avoid fighting to many of them in 1 fight though as treecnassion unbewitches on critical hit)

30-40 Not much of a difference besides scaras which attack with neutral and whatever element they are (avoid fighting red scaras as they have 100% fire resistance) probably the only problem with fecas being able to solo so much is not knowing which thing they should kill cause there are so many options

40-60 Still not much of a difference cracklers are pretty decent and drop stones as well after 70 it gets a lot better

Note: You could buy the cheapest dofus kamas . Just have a try!

60-70 no change

70+ With burning glyph its relatively easy to farm for resources you want like gob horns etc. If your good enough you can solo gobbal dungeon and can probably do small no level 80 kaniger mobs alone I recomend looking up something to kill from here on if you havent got an idea already.

 dofus Enutrof lvl guide

this guide is for those enutrof’s who have reached lvl 26 and now have coin
toss maxed.

What you need to do:

? Get your self a moskito set or rubber set or both and put them on.
? My build was 3 moskito set part and 3 rubber set part with ergot mina as weapon.
? Again I recommend getting ergot mina and use that for weapon for as long as you
can. Why? Because with it you not only steal life but also do lots of damage.
? Head to piglet island in Amakna (on the map is called the Amakna (porcos
territory) bridge located at 1, 31).
? Try to get the zaap at -1, 24 it will save you lots of running time.
? Once you are there you can start killing some pigs. Please Please Please don’t
sell piglet leathers that you get as drops for 100 or 400 kamas. These are worth at
least 800 each.
? Please try to kill whatever its there, don’t go in search of groups that are
higher lvl than others. And if you are lvl 26 and don’t have ergot mina, stay away
from groups that have more than 3 piglets.
? Keep killing until you reach lvl 38. Once you reached 38 have yourself a prespic
set ready and put it on. Again at this point it’s up to you to choose between
moskito set parts or rubber.

? Now that you have the extra wisdom you will get much more exp.
? On my char I was here till lvl 60 and then moved to Koalak Mountain.
? However my char had only about 100 wis, if you have more then perhaps you should
decided whether it is worth leaving or not.
? Also when you reach 60 and hopefully you have been saving money, I would buy a
kamasutra ammy and gelano. Keep in mind gelano is very expensive so if you don’t
have enough money for it its okay.
? Congratulations now you are lvl 60 and have shovel of judgment…..ENUTROF’S RULE.

 Mount Guide in Dofus

In Dofus, a mount can help you to carry more items as they have their own inventory and bring bonuses to players when in fight. However, the player has to choose between equipping his pet or his mount during a fight.

You can capture the mounts which thanks to a capturing net and the spell 'Mount Taming'. You can learn this spell in the dungeon located in the Koalak area. Once you've equipped the capturing net instead of your weapon, you must launch the fight against wild mounts and finish off the last wild mount while the Mount Taming spell is still active. You'll lose your capturing net but you'll get a wild mount after you succeed to capture the mount.

A wild mount can not be ridden but can mate to then give birth to new mounts that can be ridden. Though, it is important to note that you can ride a mount only when it's mature enough. A mount will mature as its aggressiveness will balance its serenity. A mount can mate when it’s fertile. A mount is considered fertile when it’s mature and its love gauge is high enough. The mating can fail if the two mounts do not have enough stamina. Mounts must be bred in public paddocks, or in private paddocks. A tamed mount must have reached level 30 to be fertile.
